Disability Assessment Camp at Sakteng, Trashigang
Disability assessment camp was held at Sakteng, Trashigang today and 55 persons with disabilities were assessed by Physiotherapist, Ophthalmologist, Audiologist, ENT Technician and Eye Technician. Based on the need and severity, around 6 beneficiaries were screened for assistive devices.
The assistive devices will be procured with support from ABS/BMZ/DAHW project and distribute it to the beneficiaries.
The team also conducted life skill development orientation to 5 children with disabilities and accordingly referred based on their disability.
