Tailoring training completed at Sarpang
6 participants have successfully completed 2 months basic tailoring training today at Gelephu, Sarpang. Facemasks, kira, wonju, tego, purse, key hangers, purse belts and choezum items were among the items taught to the beneficiaries. With their new skills, some of them will now be attached with local tailoring shops while some will be working to produce home based products.
ABS would like to thank instructor Chonga Lhamo, Thromde education sector, Gelephu LSS, Special Education Need (SEN) division and ABS focal person in Sarpang for your unwavering support and guidance without which the programme would not have been a success. In addition, we would also like to express our gratitude to Pema tailoring for supporting the beneficiaries in employment.
