Observance of IDPD with Arts
Ability Bhutan Society in collaboration with Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Germany and German Leprosy and Relief Association (DAHW), India is observing International Day for Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December with Art Competition. Therefore, we had invited the students of Royal University of Bhutan to submit an Art on the theme “Accessibility, a major barrier to inclusion.” The day is observed to promote an understanding about disability issues and mobilize support for dignity, rights and well-being of people with disabilities. Through the visual representations this year, we aim to create a wider understanding about disability in the Bhutanese Society and contribute for a social cause.
In total, there are 12 participants from six colleges. We are pleased to announce the following winners;
