His Majesty The Fifth Druk Gyalpo Awards ABS The National Order of Merit (GOLD)
His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, The fifth Druk Gyalpo awarded (ABS) the National Order of Merit Gold during the 109th National Day Ceremony on 17th of December 2016.It was awarded “for volunteering time and effort promoting humanitarian values, our culture and tradition and our national objectives; for taking on the responsibility to provide support and assistance wherever the government is unable to reach; and for keeping alive the sacred values of compassion and empathy.”
ABS offers our gratitude to His Majesty for recognition. ABS is grateful to Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen for her unconditional support and guidance for ABS, in serving the nation. The award was received with Zhungdrel Tendrel by the ABS family in ceremony held to honor it on 22nd December 2017.
